Atreyu Biography
Atreyu is an American metalcore band known for combining heavy guitar riffs, melodic passages, and forceful vocals. The group emerged from Southern California's early-2000s metalcore scene and built a following with albums including The Curse and A Death-Grip on Yesterday. Songs such as “Bleeding Mascara,” “Right Side of the Bed,” and “Becoming the Bull” remain familiar highlights for longtime listeners.
The band's sound has continued to evolve across its career, moving between metalcore intensity, hard rock hooks, and more melodic arrangements. Atreyu's live performances draw on that range, pairing energetic, heavier material with sing-along choruses. The listed December 8, 2025 concert places the band at Ace of Spades in Sacramento as part of the city's Concerts calendar, under the Alternative category.
